About a week ago, I moved to Northeast LA (more on that later). Of course, I’m now taking new buses and trains to get home. I am fortunate to be able to choose between several different bus lines to get home from work, all of which pick up near Pershing Square at Hill & 5th in DTLA.
Today I heard a slightly robotic male voice through the music in my earbuds. Confused, I took them out to assess the source.
I don’t know if this nifty little indicator is new or if I am just finally noticing it, but dang this is cool! I depend on my smart phone to let me know when the next bus arrives, but a large number of riders don’t have access to one. I’m happy to know these riders aren’t being overlooked. Let’s see if more bus stops get these too.
