It’s about time for my favorite, and probably only acceptable, event on the subway that involves a partial state of undress: the No Pants Metro Ride!
Hundreds of panty-clad Angelenos will be taking over the rail lines this Sunday for LA’s annual No Pants Metro Ride. The ride begins at several different stations throughout the Metro rail system and meet up at Union Station. There, the pantsless riders will catch the red line to the after party at Loaded in Hollywood.
The ride began in 2002 in New York City by the prank collective, Improve Everywhere. The ride has since spread to dozens of cities worldwide. This will be LA’s 7th year participating in the No Pants Metro Ride.
2014 was my first experience with the No Pants Metro Ride and it was a crazy good time. Check out my experience of last year’s shenanigans here.
