Moments ago, someone fell off the roof of the Standard Hotel. They are still on the sidewalk covered in a sheet. Such a horrible thing. I work across the street and everyone in the office is rattled by it.
Update: it was confirmed to be a suicide. Too sad. Today flowers have been set outside by the mural, near where the individual landed.
Hoff The Beaten Path 
I work across the street as well. I read comments from a poster on YouTube that his name was Eric. He was in his mid-twenties, suffered from schizophrenia and depression but was a kind person who enjoyed walking to Venice beach, gardening. He was not on any drugs or alcohol. Very tragic and sad.
So sad indeed. I hope Eric’s soul is finally at peace.
